ECOTECH, together with EURO-Drones-Inspections, develops and promotes an innovative method for sampling air pollutants using drones:

• The advantage of using a drone is in providing a fast and accessible sampling tool that can demonstrate qualitatively and not analytically the presence of a series of pollutants and is therefore suitable for random sampling, for handling incidents of hazardous materials and measuring pollutants in changing environments such as wind regimes, mobile pollution sources, etc.
• In addition, today there is no consistent sampling of the exhaust gases of vessels despite the large contribution of the pollution from vessels to the general air pollution.
• Changing the technological-strategic concept of the monitoring system for detecting air pollutants: the ability to access difficult areas for sampling will greatly improve the existing monitoring capabilities.
• With the use of drones, Ecotec aims to continue leading the field of sampling in Israel.
